Also, the addition of 4 player splitscreen is very nice. If anyone cares, this is also easy gamerscore. Lots of people seem to be playing it too. But, it is still a lot of fun and there isn't a lot of lag. Unfortunately there is no ranking system. You can join a public game or host a private game with your friends. There are 6 of these and you ca n play them on any difficulty (Beginning,Advanced,Expert). There is 4 races in each prix and the overall winner at the end gets the cup. The 6 grand prix events are similar to what you would see in Mario Kart. Both of them have single-player offerings, but Transformed has no story, unlike Team Sonic Racing. The 64 "missions" can be anything from winning a race, hitting targets, collecting coins along a track, drifting to earn points, avoiding a bunch of obstacles on a track (that aren't normally there), etc. Racing Transformed, while I despise the AI of the highest difficulty, has better designed tracks, other Sonic characters, and pretty much controls the same as TSR. But it wasnt until Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed released in 2012 that Sega came. The one they give you in the demo is somewhat boring in comparison with some of the other tracks. Mario and Sonic have been rivals since the early 90s. The game has 24 tracks, 20 something characters, 64 "missions", 6 grand prix events, and time-trial mode with a leaderboard for every track. In my opinion, any fan of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing will like this game. Sonic & Sega All-Star's racing is a great kart racing game. Up to four players can compete in a split-screen mode, and as many as eight can race together through an online connection. The game features two dozen different tracks, set in medieval castles, lush rain forests, and busy city streets, all stocked with hazards to avoid, bonuses to collect, and shortcuts to discover. In classic kart-racing form, each character drives a vehicle with different attributes - such as acceleration, handling, and top-speed - allowing players to choose a ride that complements their driving style or to pick a character best suited for the challenges of a particular course. Eggman, as well as Ai Ai and his monkey-balled companions, and the maracas-shaking Amigo from the Dreamcast's hit rhythm game.
